Plan third-party inspection before the production hold point

Third-party inspection is most effective when the inspection and test plan defines each witness, review and hold point. Late requests can interrupt production or require repeated work.

State the nominated agency, notification period, required reports and release process in the RFQ. The quotation can then account for coordination and lead time.
