Process overview
Primary geometry is formed using the route selected for the alloy, material condition and released drawing. Tooling, forming temperature and intermediate dimensions are controlled so that subsequent heat treatment and machining operations begin from a stable, traceable workpiece.
Control point
Process parameters, tooling and intermediate dimensions are checked before the parts move to thermal processing.
